?gd library problem

i try to configure GD library .. i already typed the extension_dir in php.ini and uncomment the php_gd2.dll ..
still the gd library is not included .. i checked using the phpinfo().. anyone can help me....

copy the php_gd2.dll into the winnt/system folder...I have noticed that php has problems recognizing some of the dll outside of that folder...

but i tired.. still not working.. whn i check with the phpinfo.. the extension_dir is c:\php4 but my extension_dir is c:\php\extension.. i already make the changes in php.ini but i dont knw wht it is not changing .. ?????

Do not change the dir or the extension info...just COPY the dll into the winnt/system folder

plus you'lll need to restart the system to pick up the changes
